Counting Followers is a vanity project

We have a client with 56,000 followers on their Facebook page and another with 600, with a similar difference between Instagram followers. Comms Kick's own social media channels don't have a huge following. Yet all three businesses regularly sell out or are fully booked for the months ahead. The lesson? It's not about numbers. It'a about what you say and how you say it. Speaking authentically and in a way that engages your target market is much more important than speaking to crowds of people who aren't and never will be that interested. So stop worrying so much about your numbers and start thinking more about your content. Do you have any burning social media questions? Every month in our newsletter, Drop Kick, we feature content inspiration and a content idea. The second edition is landing in inboxes this week, so sign up here.
